"Eighth and Rail": an awesome spot in Opelika, Alabama. Never heard of it? Neither had we. But we had a good time racing on the railroad (these boys had never seen Fried Green Tomatoes obviously), smashing pennies, and playing cards. There was also the amazing display of a Grinch in a wedding dress. 
Eric had never heard of boiled peanuts before and we couldn't find any to introduce him to but at the produce stand in Tampa I picked some up. Soft and salty.
